I can't bear all this gushing about Christmas. As if everyone loses their sense of proportion about what Christmas is or what it should be. The BBC seem to have recruited.a special squadron of gushy reporters asking people leading questions about how 'awful it must be not to see your loved ones' ... I am sure people know you don't need Christmas to see your loved ones?
I usually like to see those I love much more often than once a year and I don't need a reason to see them - am I perhaps weird? All his tawdry hype contributes much more to people's misery because they can't have this sort of a 'perfect Christmas' as prescribed by the frenzied media than to the cheer they claim they're reporting about! Stop it is stupid, tasteless and it embarrasses Jesus when he's hanging out with Mohammed, Buddha, Krishna but specially Jupiter, who likes to take the piss out of JC a lot about the bacchanalia that his followers were meant to replace with something more meaningful! Poor Jesus.
All this moaning about a religious festival that very few practice! Have we all become spoilt, hissy-fitting, drama queens because we can't have a special Christmas as prescribed on BBC by Mary Berry? What do we say to people in Gaza, Kabul, Bethlehem, etc....?
